What is better an eastern shovelhead or fbm marauder?
i would have to say the fbm marauder is better because it is lighter and it has better colors. Also it has the pivotal style seat/seatpost and i like this because it shaves alot of weight and it is still a strong seat. both of them are 100% cromoly and that is why they have a lifetime warranty on the frame.
Are Haro Forums Good?
Yes. A Haro Forum is a very good bike. Cromoly front triangle, fork and handlebar (rear triangle and head tube are high tensile steel), 3 piece crank with sealed bearings, aluminum sealed bearing hubs... it's a great value really.
What is the best cruiser BMX?
The Faction Zeitgeist is the best cruiser (although it's got 22" wheels, so not technically a cruiser). It's faster in racing than a 24 and loads better for tricks on street or trails. Best deal going is £275 on faction's store, well cheap for a full cromoly bike IMO.

Well, both United and Blackeye have a full line of bikes. Blackeye comes in cheaper with their Mack at only $190. United's start at $290 with their Recruit RN1. For $10 more, you can get a bike from Blackeye that's equivalent component wise, but has a cromoly top and downtube and cromoly fork steerer (the United Recruit is all hi-tensile steel). The Blackeye is also slightly longer in the front for taller riders. If you're comparing top of the line models, then you're putting the $500 Blackeye Killarado up against the $520 United Supreme SU2. Both are VERY similar in build quality and specs and both come with a 21" long top tube. The Blackeye comes with smaller frame size options for smaller riders, but if you need the longer 21" frame, I'd still say go with the Blackeye and save yourself $20.

Chromoly (often spelled cromoly) is an abbreviation for "chromium-molybdenum steel". Chromoly is an alloy used to produce tubing for bicycle frames and race-car roll cages. It is not as lightweight as some steel alloys, but has the advantages of high tensile strength and malleability. It is also easily welded and is considerably stronger and more durable than standard (1020) steel tubing. It is also known as 4130 steel, and is composed of 0.28 to 0.33% carbon, 0.4 to 0.6% manganese, 0.8 to 1.1% chromium, 0.15 to 0.25% molybdenum, 0.04% phosphorus, 0.04% sulfur, and 0.2 to 0.35% silicon, in addition to iron. Is forgotten bikes better than haro bikes?
in my opinion yes. I have a forgotten victim 2010, (the purple one). My only problem i had with it that was major was that I just realized that the little stud on the crank arm that goes into the sprocket is broken, i mean the weld just broke and its practically hanging out and i haven't even had a chance to test the bike on a good set of dirt jumps or a skate park, I wouldn't go by that though. This was yesterday (8th of feb 2011), i got the bike 9 months ago (may 12 2010). The only other problem I have had is that since i bout the bike the rear wheel was of center and kinda wobbly but only a bit, again i wouldn't say that means all forgotten's will have that "defect". Forgotten bikes are good for supplying cheaper (and lighter) bikes with good stats (sealed in bearings, cromoly stuff ect) for younger riders. If you have more money then you could get a better bike such as a colony, WTP ect not kink though a lot of people i know say they're really bad (including me). In other words if you want a good cheaper starting bike with respectable stats forgotten wont let you down, haro might, and haro's are heavy and REALY ugly looking.
Which is the heavier bike frame alloy or aluminium?
It depends on the bike. Common frame materials are: steel and its alloys, aluminum and its alloys (magnesium, titanium, etc), and carbon fiber. Even within these materials there is a huge variation. Old mild steel frames can weigh 20+ lbs with no wheels, seat, bars, crank, or gears, while a low cost CroMoly steel frame may weigh 10 lbs, and a high end triple butted steel frame made from engineered steel like Reynolds 953 can weigh as little as 2.5 lbs without a fork. Aluminum frames can be as light as or slightly lighter than steel, but a department store steel frame may weigh 10 lbs and a dept store aluminum frame may weigh 8. Titanium, magnesium, and other alloys are generally 80-90% aluminum with other materials to make the material stronger so that the tubes can be thinner. A frame in aluminum or titanium can get as light as 2 lbs sans fork. Carbon fiber is the champion for lightness, but even then it can vary. You will probably never see a 10 lb carbon frame, but you may see some 4 lb versions, so a top end steel frame would be lighter. High quality carbon frames without fork and using no inserts can get below 2 lbs. Riding characteristics are different for all of the materials, steel tends to be a smoother ride than aluminum, and carbon can be engineered to give a smooth ride as well. Steel tends to be more forgiving of overstress, like a crash. Carbon fiber can fail catastrophically in the right (or wrong) conditions, and send splinters of carbon flying. Honestly, when you get to the top tier of any material, frame weight is less of an issue than components and frame feel. You will probably not be able to tell the difference between a 3 lb frame and a 2 lb frame, especially after you put 10-15 lbs of parts on it, and a 150 lb rider. That added 0.62% of weight will have less impact than about a dozen other factors, from the spring or softness of the frame (helping or hurting your pedaling force) to the rolling efficiency of the chain (anywhere from 97-99%, a 2% gain over a .6% gain).
