The Mexican Mafia was started in Southern California by Luis ''Huero Buff'' Flores. There are several gangs that are controlled by Mexican Mafia like the Surenos, Ms-13 & Eighteen Street Gang to name a few. All gangs under the Mexican Mafia represent the number ''13'' because ''M'' is the 13th letter of the alphabet & the ''M'' stands for Mexican Mafia. Some members wear blue and or gray bandanas to the left side of their back pocket, but they are mainly identified by their tattoos. Their main rivals are the gangs under the Blood Alliance for example the Blood Gang, Pirus, Nortenos & Brims(who wear red bandanas to the right side of their back pocket) just to name a few. Gangs under Mexican Mafia mostly consist of people who are Hispanic(more specifically Mexican) but any race can be apart of it. Crips & gangs under the Folk Nation(Gangster Disciples, La Raza, Gangster Two Six to name a few) are close allies(but not apart of) Mexican Mafia.
