The iris diaphragm adjusts the amount of light allowed in.
Diaphragm control lever
prerssure plate release lever..
The diaphragm of a microscope is used to control the amount of light passing through the specimen. By adjusting the diaphragm, you can regulate the brightness and contrast of the image, helping to improve visibility and clarity.
The diaphram Is What Controls How Much Light Is Released.
Equipped on the Condenser of the microscope, the iris diaphragm is a shutter controlled by a lever that is used to regulate the amount of light entering the lens system.
The Diaphragm of the microscope regulates the amount of light shown.
The first thing you may notice is the engine will become hard to start. You may also notice gasoline mixed with the oil as the diaphragm in the pump may have a hole in it allowing fuel to enter the engine oil pan. Eventually the engine will not run at all from lack of fuel when the pump fails completely. You can test the pump by removing it and pushing the lever on the pump all the way in, then put your finger over the inlet and release the lever. If the diaphragm is busted the lever will move back. If the lever holds steady as long as you have the inlet plugged the pump is good.

it is called the diaphram.
The diaphragm is not made out of bone, but the diaphragm is a muscle.
The muscle you are referring to is the diaphragm. It also separates the thoracic cavity from the abdominopelvic cavity.
