Mechatronics is typically defined as the intersection of the following fields:
* Mechanical Design * Electrical Design (e.g. electronics) * Software * Control Electromechanical engineering does not typically involve software or control topics directly. Rather, it is the study of systems where energy is converted between the electrical and mechanical realms.
Mechanical Engineering is HVAC and Piping. Industrial engineer looks at full product flow through a plant

mechanical engineering is mostly related to the technical specifications of machines and their working principles. industrial engineering is interested in efficiency, correct planning, productivity of sources, supply chain management and fault minimizing etc.
In industrial engineering we deal with 4M's of industry Man,Money,Material and Machines they also have sound knowledge over mecahnical engineering and they can enjoy management as well. they have many career opportunities and wide area of application.
If you like getting your hand dirty or working on big projects, definitely do Mechanical Engineering.
If you like computers and making things like robots, lasers, controlling lights, etc, do electrical engineering.
I suggest a magazine called MAKE, (www.makezine.com) it has cool projects that are a mix of ME and EE, do some and see what aspect excites you the most. If you like programming the computers, maybe EE is suited for you. If you like making big parts and using power tool, maybe you'll like ME more.
Also, if you're into cars or airplanes, ME's rule that world (but EE's find easy employment there too).
If you're into computers or robots, EE's rule that world, and ME's do not find easy employment there.
Mechanical engineering is working on machine always to make it function while automation engineering is working on machines to make it work automatically
LCR meter is a device. And electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is a method. So the difference between them are like the difference between pen and writing.
Devices do not care with this difference. Humans do.
gunn diode is transfered electron device & PIN diode is semiconductor device
A hydraulic pump uses an external mechanical force to pressurize the hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic motor uses the pressurized hydraulic fluid to apply a mechanical force an external machine. See the difference between a pump and a motor.
A device called a power inverter. In old vacuum tube radios an electromechanical device called a vibrator was used.Another device is a motor-generator using a DC motor and an AC generator.
A mechanical or electromechanical device that is used to print text on a paper document!!!!A mechanical or electromechanical device that is used to print text on a paper document!!!!
An alternator is an electromechanical device that converts mechanical energy to alternating currant electrical energy.
the difference between both are: Primary transducer:The Mechanical device which converts physical quantity to be measured into a mechanical signal. Secondary tranducer:The Electrical device which converts this mechanical signal to the electrical signal.
the difference between a electric motor and a generator.Motor- is a device or equipment which convert electrical energy to mechanical energy.Generator- is a device or equipment which convert mechanical energy to electrical energy.
mechanical coupling can be called as a mechanical device which is used to connect two mechanical links as well as transmit power between them. mechanical joint is just used to joint two linkages . there is no power or torque transmission between them .
the difference between both are: Primary transducer:The Mechanical device which converts physical quantity to be measured into a mechanical signal. Secondary tranducer:The Electrical device which converts this mechanical signal to the electrical signal.
A device or system that is designed to be electrically actuated, like a device actuated by a solenoid, is an electromechanical design. Electromechanical engineers create this type of design.
It is a machine or device that been run or tranducer by electronics
A buzzer is any mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, etc. device designed to produce a buzzing sound or vibration when activated. Some examples are:joy buzzer, a mechanical device used for practical jokes that is held in the palm and activated when the jokester shakes hands, causing an unpleasant vibration in the palm of the victim (shown in image above)electric buzzer, an electromechanical device that produces a buzzing noise and activated by connecting to electrical powerpiezo buzzer, an electronic device using the vibrations of a flat disk of piezoelectric material to produce a buzzing noise and activated by enabling it controlling electronic circuit
A typewriter is a mechanical or electromechanical device with a set of "keys" that, when pressed, cause characters to be printed on a medium, usually paper.
a device that converts electromechanical energy into electric energy.
It is a device which gives the difference b/w standard size value & work to be check.
