I was wondering the same thing. What I have been able to glean is that "dim dom son" isn't a word in and of itself. Each syllable is the beginning of the day of the week in French, Spanish, and German, respectively. I don't know why they are only listing the beginning of each word. French = Dimanche Spanish = Domingo German = Sonntag (all German days of week end in 'tag'.)
