End to end connection is when two machines are not directly connected.
Granger announced the end of slavery in June 19,1865 which marked the celebration of Juneteenth.
In The Day the World Almost Came to an End by Pearl Crayton we have the theme of innocence, freedom, fear, religion, insecurity, connection and independence.
Typically, I've heard this term used by industrial electricians. It means that a single cable, or single conductor is used to connect a device at one end, and the other end of the wire is connected directly to where it needs to be.For example; a temperature probe (in a large industrial cookie oven) has one cable connected to it, and the other end of the cable goes directly to the device that monitors the oven temperature. There are no junction boxes, wire nuts, or splices used anywhere for a device's wiring connection. Make sense???
There is no connection.
The vikings connection between Greenland is that they came from Greenland
Connection-Oriented means that when devices communicate, they perform handshaking to set up an end-to-end connection. Connection-Oriented systems can only work in bi-directional communications environments. Connection-less means that no effort is made to set up a dedicated end-to-end connection. Walkie-talkies, or Citizens Band radios are a good examples of connection-less communication.

on your mind
it is nothing but end on end connection.
In a virtual circuit network, there is an end-to-end connection in the sense that each router along the path must maintain state for the connection; hence the terminology connection service. In a connection-oriented transport service over a connectionless network layer, such as TCP over IP, the end systems maintain connection state, but the routers have no notion of any connections; hence the terminology connection-oriented service.
One connection involves pointy things; the other involves blunt thing. Hence, 'point to point' and 'end to end'. Not really. I'm just being stupid. LOL(:
