What is everlost about?

It is about two teens who are killed in a car crash, and wind up getting lost on their way to wherever we end up when we die. So they're stuck in Everlost. The only people who exist there are kids, the oldest probably not even 18. The book mostly revolves around these two characters Allie and Nick, in the beginning, then ends up having Mary, Lief, and the McGill join too ( A monster who is at all costs to be avoided). The book includes the kids trying to discover all they can about, the new place they live in, that is so close to the living world, that the dead kids are actually walking in the same place as the living, the only trick is, the dead can only walk in places where things have died,"dead spots", such as animals, people, loved items, buildings, or even forests. If they walk in "live spots" they start sinking into the Earth until they end up in the very center of the Earth, or the Core, where the sunken kids will most likely stay until the end of the Earth's existence. So, they must be careful in this crazy new world, where one wrong step can mean waiting until the Earth's end, or being in a sticky situation that cannot be wiggled out of. This book is a real"page turner" that has surprises around every corner. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves to read a good book. Hope you enjoy it. ( I know my summary is probably confusing, but the concept is so out there, it's bound to be, don't worry though, Neal Shusterman is a great writer and explains the concept thoroughly.)
