H2SO4 = Sulphuric Acid

This formula tells us that , in the molecule, there are;-

2 x hydrogen atoms

1 x sulphur atom

4 x oxygen atoms.

Do NOT confuse with SULPHUROUS ACID , which as the formula H2SO3. The different is oner less oxygen atom.
