Genotype is the genes you have inherited for a certain condition (say you have two recessive genes for cystic fibrosis) and phenotype is the result of genotype and environmental factors added together (you will develop cystic fibrosis).

Penotype is the actual genes that you inherit from your parents. Phenotype is the genes that are actually expressed in your body. For instance, you may inherit genes for both red hair and blond hair from your parents, but you will only have one hair color. Both redhead and blond genes are part of your genotype, but only the genes for the hair color you actually have are part of your phenotype.
