Volume remains the same

Tank (vessels) expands

High space shock goes by other names you may be familiar with, such as relative hypovolemia or distributive shock. In this form of shock, the fluid volume remains the same, but the vessels dilate causing poor perfusion and hypotension. Fluid can also shift from intracellular to extracellular space. This can be seen in neuogenic shock (spinal shock) where vessels lose sympathetic tone (which causes vasoconstriction), anaphylaxis, or sepsis. All of these forms of shock show hypotension that should be initially managed with fluid, but it is not due to true hypovolemia.

Does electric shock occur in space?

An electric shock could occur in space. One thing to keep in mind about electrical shocks is that if the body provides a return path for current to flow then an electrical shock will occur. It does not matter if it is in space or on earth, touching a potential across the output supply on a high voltage system is going to short circuit the supply through you.

If you were wearing rubber soled shoes why would you get a shock?

Even rubber is bad conductor of electricity, our body will not resist the high voltage. rubber will minimise the shock but will not avoid the shock

How are shoe shock absorbers now used on space?

Shoe shock absorbers are not used in space, as astronauts wear specialized boots that do not require traditional shock absorbers. In microgravity environments, astronauts rely on equipment like foot restraints and handrails to stabilize themselves and move around effectively.

What is third space syndrome?

Third space syndrome involves a shifting of fluid from the vascular space to the interstitial space that primarily occurs secondary to extensive surgical procedures, biologic therapy or septic shock.

What are explosions in space called?

Explosions in space are often referred to as supernovae or space bursts. These phenomena can occur when stars reach the end of their life cycle and explode in a burst of energy, releasing shock waves and radiation into space.

What makes the sound of the sonic boom?

Molecules collapsing in on and crashing into each other in any void space created by an object passing through that space at a high enough velocity to push a shock wave outward involving all of the molecules it contains.

How does electricity shock?

Electric shock occurs when a human body has a contact to the source of voltage that is high enough to cause sufficient current to hair or muscle.
