Why do we have a conscience?

Answer This is a difficult question to ask. To begin with, we have not yet found what "consiousness" really is. So it is rather hard to find out 'why' we have it. Philosophers have always thought that consiousness is what differentiates us from the animals (and not "from the other animals"), even though this has been a matter of debate in the last years (some people think that animals have consiouness too, something which is very difficult to prove). Our consiousness doen't seem to help us in any way as far as our species survival is concerned, and that is why many think that it has something to do with us having a 'higher' purpose in life we have not yet realized.

If a Buddhist had to choose three words to express what is important in there religion what would they be and why?

The 3 words will be 'Morality', 'Meditation' and 'Wisdom'. The ultimate motivation of a Buddhist is to attain enlightenment; the complete understanding of the true nature of existence. To do that he/she has to journey inward into the higher level of consiousness by 'Meditation' and to reduce or avoid distracting thoughts that hinders the progress of meditation he/she has to purify the mind by doing good and avoiding evil (Morality).

What is hyperhemoglobinemia and what is the treatment?

As far as I can tell, Hyperhemoglobinemia causes high amounts of hemoglobin in the blood, which is responsible to carrying oxygen to the rest of the body. People with this condition are actually more benefitial with this condition. It may cause increased matabolism, physical activity, energy, higher consiousness, and possibly reduced feeling to bodily injuries by increased adrenaline. It may also increase the healing rate of said injuries.
