from what I've read its the following mid clavicular = 5-7 mid axillary = 7-9 paravetebral = 9-11 i believe that it is the second in the midclavicular and either 6,7, or 8 in he midaxillary

In the 6th intercostal space, important structures found include the internal mammary artery and vein, and the intercostal muscles and nerves. Additionally, in the left 6th intercostal space, the cardiac apex is located.
It's in 1st intercostal ( space between 1st rib and 2nd rib ) and 2nd intercostal space ( space between 2nd rib and 3rd rib)

The aprical pulse is located midclavicular line, at the 5th intercostal space.
over the right sternal border and the second intercostal space(n.b. it seems paradoxical from the anatomy of the heart, where the aortic valve comes out from the left ventrical, but think of it as the aorta come out of the ventricle, it actually crosses over a bit to the right so it can form the arch of aorta
