Loudness and softness are relative, and they are what would be called psychophysical variables. Loudness is related to the amplitude of a sound wave. Amplitude is how high up and low down the wave form goes relative to the x-coordinate. The greater the amplitude the louder the sound, all other things being equal.
Loud and soft are the terms related to the intensity of sound. Intensity is directly proportional to the square of amplitude of vibrations produced in the medium is which sound is propagated. When such a wave with higher amplitude bombards over the ear drum then our ear drum too starts vibrating with higher amplitude and so our brain senses that sound as a louder sound. For convenience we use a unit to measure the intensity and that one is decibel.
Loud sound is more sound pressure level (SPL). Soft sound is less sound pressure level (SPL). We measure that sound pressure level with an SPL meter.

the difference is the waves travel longer and taller and you can hear it loud . but the soft sound the waves travel shorter and shorter and you can hear it non clearly.
There is a loud vibration and the tiny particles get disturbed in a fast motion. When there is a soft vibration there are tiny particles that get disturbed but in a slow motion.
Loud
soft
If naturally you're soft, then no, if naturally your loud, then yes.
When you bang something soft the sound will be soft and when you bang something hard the sound will be loud. The same with talking, if you talk loudly the sound will be loud and when you talk quietly the sound will be soft.
Loudness
Loud
SOFT
loud sound- a dog barking soft sound- the turning of a book page

SOFT
It determines how loud or soft the sound is.

pitch isn't used to find sound but pitch is if the sound is loud or soft. the pitch of music may vary.
