A jaspe yarn is a yarn in which two or more fibers of different colors have been twined together to form a mixed or heather-effect color. The yarn itself looks "spiralled", while the textile it produces has a variegated, heathered look.

difference between spun yarn and filament yarn
The distinctive stippled pale-grey/grey colour common in clothing, especially athletic ware. Also commonly referred to as "heather grey" or "sports grey." The term "marl" comes from the yarn originally used to produce this colour, which has strands of different, but similar, colours spun together. (marled yarn)
Yarn is fibre; bobbin is a storage reel for fibre.
Textured yarn has for lack of better words a texture like confettie, eyelash, or fiber look to it. Micro yarn is very thin yarn.
Since neither word describes a natural fibre, the difference is probably vocabulary choice.
Marled Bonaparte was his father.
similar to a boucle yarn...except the difference is in construction. the effect yarn is wound more tightly and irregularly around the base yarn adding texture and decoration.
Ring spun yarn is when the yarn is both twisted and wound at the same time. Open ended spun yarn is when the yarn is twisted by rotating at the hap or break in the flow.
Any fibre, regardless of the source -- natural or man-made, can be spun. Synthetic yarn contains no natural fibres.
While there are general standards, there are no absolute standards for the amount of yarn in either a skein or a hank. The amount depends on the weight of the yarn and which fibres are including in its spinning.
