What are the negatives of a pediatrician?

Putting up with a bunch of screaming little kids. I'd hate that. As a mom, I would be saddened to see children in pain, ill or dying. I couldn't handle the emotional turmoil that pediatricians must experience day in and day out. The emotional strain must be a primary drawback associated with this profession.

when you see sick kids it makes you want to cry. also that you can get sick too. because the hospitals are not as clean as they seem .they should keep disinfecting the rooms as each patient leaves.they dont always clan after every patien and they eed to keep their hands clean and steralized. alsO keep fresh balce of H2O.

the amount of schooling which is 11 years. seeing a child with a severe condition may be heartbreaking. pediatricians often get so far into debt they almost never get out. even with their salary. there are lots of hours and they cant get much done after work. they aren't very concerned with their own health after they spend the whole day working with patients and often forget to exercise and eat right which cal be very stressful.

The good things about being a pediatrician is being a part in the health and well being of children. Many pediatricians remain as the child's physician into early adulthood, and therefore have long lasting relationships with their patients. Some of the not so good things about being a pediatrician are sometimes long hours and seeing children who are very ill which can be emotionally difficult.
