0.5 + 0.5 if that's what you mean. Though if you mean as a fraction it depends whether your calculator is scientific or not. If its scientific the you press a button that has a box then a line then a box underneath each other. Then you type 1/2 + 1/2 and then =.
If you have a normal calculator just do 0.5 + 0.5.
