To clarify, UofM is NOT on the semester system, they have two semesters: Fall (Sep-Dec), Winter (Jan-April), followed by two optional accelerated semesters: Spring (May-June) and Summer (July-Aug). The large majority of students only attend Fall and Winter semesters
