THE COMMUNICATION PROCESSThe communication process consists of a message being sent and received. The message maybe verbal or non-verbal. The same basic principles apply whether humans, animals, other formsof life, or combinations of these are involved. Your challenge, as an instructor, is to not merelycommunicate with your students--but to communicate effectively.Effective communication involves a message being sent and received. Added to this however,is the element of feedback to ensure that the message sent was received exactly as intended. Thisconcept may be illustrated using the three-step communications model
Communication is the process of sending and receiving information between individuals or groups. It involves encoding a message into a format that can be transmitted through a medium, such as verbal, non-verbal, written, or visual. The message is then received, decoded, and understood by the recipient, who may provide feedback to complete the communication loop.
The communication process is the method by which information is conveyed in an understandable form from the originator to the recipient. Communication may be visual (writing), electronic (video or CD), audible (speech), or a combination of one or more media.
On a basic level writing and speaking are methods of communication but for the communication to be complete there needs to be a reader and a listener ie
writing / reading speaking / listening
In communication, the sender sends the message and the receiver decodes the message. Depending on how effective the sender was in sending the message, the receiver may have feedback about the message.
The process of oral communication is called speech.
