It is located on the spare tire cover.
Look in the glove box; One of the last characters is PNT (paint) WAxxxx, write all those numbers down and bring them in then you will figure it out.
Hello, Paint codes on the 1992 buick cars are usually found under the spare tire cover. Good luck
There are really very few differences. For 1998 all US market new vehicles got second generation airbags standard. The 1997s had first-gen bags. Also, OnStar was an option in Lesabres starting in 1998. Other than for those to items and possibly some paint and pricing differences, a 1997 is the same as a 1999 Lesabre.
On my 97 Lesabre Limited the paint code is on a sticker that is affixed to the top of the spare tire cover in the trunk. There are lots of parts numbers on the sticker but the paint code is the character string at the lower left. If the car is two-toned there will be an upper (U) code and a lower (L) code. Otherwise there will be just one paint code. Go to any of several websites to match your numerical code to a description of the color.

red
its not paint, its actually a plastic covering that peels really easily, just scrape off the remainder and buy some black spraypaint, if your careful it will last for alot longer than the plastic
Any auto body shop should be able to get you the proper paint code match for your auto.
This type of top is generally glued to the sheet metal, over the paint. It's useful to note that landau tops and vinyl tops are often used to cover substandard paint jobs at the factory. It's a way to make a car acceptable for sale if the only paint flaws are on the roof. But that's probably a moot point, because you'll likely make a mess of the paint removing the top anyway. Ask a good body shop about the best way to remove it.
on the underside of the trunk lid this may be helpful http://www.automotivetouchup.com/paint-codes/buick.htm
There is a sticker on the inside of the trunk lid that has that information.
American Paint horses are found in all geographical locations.
