One metaphor in Animal Farm is the farmhouse, which represents greed and lust. The gun and flag represent Marxism in the way the animals worship them. Sugarcandy Mountain represents heaven. Milk represents the love and care from mothers to their children.
In this book of George Orwell, the animals will (especially the pigs) start walking on two legs instead of four, drink alcohol, and Napoleon even starts talking and trading with fellow farmers.

His actions demonstrate the corrupting influence of power.
