peacocks have a very Lon g and beautiful iridescent blue-green plumage. (tail feathers), that are most unique in pattern and color. They have an "eye" shaped pattern on them.

When the term peafowl is used, peacock then refers to the male of a species and peahen to the female. During courtship the crested male common peacock displays his elongated upper tail coverts - a magnificent green and gold erectile train adorned with blue-green eyes - before the duller-plumaged peahen. The peacock is well known as an ornamental bird, The male (peacock) Indian Peafowl has beautiful iridescent blue-green or green colored plumage. The so-called "tail" of the peacock, also termed the "train", is not the tail quill feathers but highly elongated upper tail coverts. The train feathers have a series of eyes that are best seen when the tail is fanned.

The entire body of both male and female pigeon is compact. Pigeon's head is small and it is attached to the main frame with a short neck. Its wings are long and broad aiding it the flap and speed its flight. Its tail is pointed and a bit broad. Its bill is strong but short. Closer observation shows that the male pigeon is a bit bigger in size but their colors remain the same.
