'Tug of War'
nothing NEW... This could be true but it depends on how strong the people are pulling and how strong the rope is. If two people are pulling it equally hard enough then it will probably snap at its weakest point.
If you are simply pulling an object with a rope, say, such that the rope is parallel to the surface over which you are pulling then, ideally, the distance between you and the object should make no difference.
Pulling is when you pull something the action of pulling is when you have a tug of war you pull the rope
Tension
the force of tension in the rope, which is delivered to the object to which the opposite end of the rope is attached
Just a rope and knots in the middle and both of the ends were knot's.
Think of a heavy box lying on the ground with a rope attached for pulling. Until you try to pull the box it doesn't actually resist you. Once you start pulling on the rope, and even if you are unable to move the box, it is as if there is a force pulling against you. This is the force of friction. The friction between the box and the ground sets up this force.
the name of the game cold rope is jumping rope
When you pull on the rope, the side with the most force will win.
