∙ 7y agoIt is used for many things in a presentation affecting slides, enabling you to work on more than one at a time. You can do things like delete slides, change the order of slides, apply transition effects to a group of slides together, copy slides and apply formatting, amongst other things. It also lets you view all of the slides, which can be useful for analysing a presentation to spot differences in slides or where you may have made duplicates or have a setting different to other slides etc. It can help in your planning of your presentation as you create it. So it is a very useful facility.

It can quickly let you see what slides you have. It can let you make copies of slides that you want to use in the presentation. It can let you delete them.
