Song po po is the house maid of the Jiang family. She lives in a small apartment in the same building as the Jiangs.
Song Po Po is Ji-li's beloved grandmother in the memoir "Red Scarf Girl" by Ji-li Jiang. She is a traditional Chinese woman who supports Ji-li during challenging times and provides her with love and wisdom throughout the book. Despite facing persecution during the Cultural Revolution, Song Po Po remains a source of strength and inspiration for Ji-li.
