There is nothing known as a spiritual attachment, it is a spiritual realization. A spiritual realization is this - that you and me are the same. We may appear different on the outside, but it's like two waves that realize we are a part of one ocean. There is no question of developing emotional attachment. Spiritual realization is the result of emotional compassion and love for one and all. It goes beyond physical and emotional attachments, thus, it is called realization .

Between physical, spiritual and emotional pain, the one I think is the most painful is emotional. The reason why is because emotional scars never heal. Physical scars can heal and you may not always be aware of the spiritual side of things, so in essence you may not feel anything.
