Vending machines Empty. Ice machine not working . Gym kept closed and the code changed daily. Breakfast cafeteria a joke. We have always endeavored to stay at a Best Western. That will never happen, in the future. We had to pay our room in full , before we arrived, in order to get a discount. This was during an out of season visit, in June of 2012. We complained about the noise of the fan in the bathroom. They told us they would fix it. They did, they cut the power to it, so that it did not run at all. (made for great smells) The price that Quality Inn and Days Inn charged were much lower than what we paid and were 1 block apart. Did not know that Great Western hotels are all franchised....... live and learn
