The critical micelle concentration (CMC) of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) is approximately 8-10 mM. This is the concentration at which SDS molecules aggregate to form micelles in solution.
SDS or sodiumdodecyl sulfate is a detergent used in protein separation. SDS buffer or SDS sample buffer consist of SDS, Tris, glycerol, bromo phenol blue, EDTA, and DTT or beta mercapto ethanol as a standard recipe. SDS is also added in stacking and separating gel preparation buffers that contain acrlamide. The main purpose is to keep the proteins denatured and provide the net negative charge to proteins as well as to run them according to it molecular weight
To learn how to write an SDS (Safety Data Sheet), you can take a training course on chemical safety and SDS authoring. These courses are offered by various organizations and can provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to create accurate and compliant SDS documents. Additionally, you can refer to guidelines and templates provided by regulatory agencies such as OSHA or the GHS to ensure your SDS meets industry standards.
Safety Data Sheets (SDS) should be readily accessible to employees at all times during their work shifts. They are typically kept in a central location in the workplace, such as a dedicated SDS binder or electronic database. Each department or work area should have easy access to the SDS for the chemicals they work with.
In the context of a 10k ring, "cmc" likely refers to the metal purity of the ring. 10k gold is composed of 41.7% pure gold, with the remaining 58.3% made up of other metals like silver, copper, and zinc. Therefore, "cmc" in this case indicates that the ring is made of 10 karat gold.
SDS (Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate or [CH3-(CH2)10-CH2-O-SO-3]Na+) is a detergent under the category of amphipathic molecules (those molecules that have both polar or hydrophilic, and nonpolar or hydrophobic groups) and is a strong denaturant chemical that disrupts the terciary structure of proteins (without breaking disulfide bonds) to give a random coil or rod-like shape configuration.SDS binds quite tenaciously to proteins (an average of one SDS molecule for every two amino acid residues). The large negative charge that SDS imparts masks the protein's intrinsic charge so that SDS-treated proteins tend to have identical charge-to-mass ratios and similar shapes, useful characteristics to determine their molecular masses through SDS-PAGE electrophoresis techniques.

The converted mana cost (CMC) of a card with the keyword "mtg cmc x" is variable and depends on the value chosen for X when the card is cast.

The short answer to your question is "yes". I found myself researching the same question a few days ago and found that the real difference is between SDS/SDS Plus and SDS Max. I don't recall the exact dimension now, so I won't try to quote it, but the Max is a larger size. The answer I found was enough to tell me I used SDS (SDS Plus), and those were the bits I needed to buy. Once I knew that, I didn't need to remember the size of SDS Max...they were too big for my drill. Last point, SDS Plus is sometimes shortened to SDS+.
