There are numerous characteristics that define Carnivores. One of them being sharp teeth for being able to slice through muscles, tissue, and bone. Sharp teeth also help them take down their prey easily. It would be difficult to capture and kill animals with dull theeth. I've notived most carnivores are theropods. some, like the ornithomimus are omnivores.
