Some non-Christians are called 'atheists'. Some are called 'Buddhists; others are called 'Hindus'. Others are called 'pagans'.

To my knowledge, the original Bible text does NOT call anyone 'pagan'.

There are Jews and Gentiles; but both of them can become Christians.
