The easy way to do this is to apply a simple rule of thump that for every 100 m2 of pool surface area, 4-5 m3 of balance tank capacity is needed. For example, given a pool size 50 x 21 (1050 m2).

Taking 5 m3, the balance tank capacity would be 52,3 m3
