What is the Source of argon?

Interestingly... I was wondering about the same.Certainly not the final answer- but I found this article:= Scientific Correspondence = Nature 399, 649-650 (17 June 1999) | doi:10.1038/21352 Joachim Kunz1 Pepin1 suggests, mainly on the basis of three studies2, 3, 4, that solar argon, krypton and xenon might be present in the Earth's mantle. But I believe that the analytical evidence is still too weak to claim such a breakthrough in rare-gas geochemistry. Moreover, other studies5, 6, 7, 8, and the new data I report here, indicate that solar argon, krypton and xenon, if present at all, are only a minor constituent of mantle rare gases.

Why does my Handycam have a buffer overflow I have a Sony HDR-CX550V I constantly get issues with buffer overflow while recording?

I have the same problem with the more expensive ($1500) version of this camcorder - the Sony HXRmc50u - started to happen after about a year of use. Totally frustrating and I can't find any info about this problem on Sony or anywhere else on the web. Fortunately, Canon Vixia M-41 camcorders were recently on sale at a $300 discount price of $399 and I bought 2 of them. They are very similar to the Sony (they have a viewfinder) and they don't have any buffer overflow problem. I've given up on the Sony (unreliable - can't trust it) and would never buy another Sony memory camcorder.

The temperature of a piece of unknown metal with a mass of 18.0 g increases from 25.0 degrees C to 40 degrees C when the metal absorbs 124.2 J of heat What is the specific heat of the unknown metal?

Without stating units, it is impossible to answer this question accurately. However, the equation you would need is q=mc∆T, where q is the heat flow (the 53.0 listed, likely Joules), m is the mass of the unknown metal (11.1, likely grams), c is the specific heat of the metal (the unknown you need to solve for), and ∆T is the change in temperature of the metal (24.1-13.0, likely Celcius). Rearranged to solve for specific heat, the question is c=q/m∆T.

What is the orgin name of neptunium?

Neptune is the god of the sea in Roman mythology, a brother of Jupiter and Pluto. He is analogous but not identical to the god Poseidon of Greek mythology. The Roman conception of Neptune owed a great deal to the Etruscan god Nethuns. Originally he was an Italic god paired with Salacia, possibly the goddess of the salt water. At an early date (399 BC) he was identified with Poseidon, when the Sibylline books ordered a lectisternium in his honour (Livy v. 13). In earlier times it was the god Portunes or Fortunus who was thanked for naval victories, but Neptune supplanted him in this role by at least the first century BC, when Sextus Pompeius called himself "son of Neptune". Neptune was associated as well with fresh water, as opposed to Oceanus, god of the world-ocean. Like Poseidon, Neptune was also worshipped by the Romans as a god of horses, under the name Neptune Equester, patron of horse-racing.
