The OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon is the largest half-marathon in the U.S. and the fifth largest running event in the world. The 13.1 mile course winds through downtown Indianapolis Participants also run one full lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 2.5 mile track. It is one of Indianapolis' most celebrated events throughout the year.
Entertainment is found along the race course and volunteers can get involved by handing out Gatorade to runners, as well as in other ways.
After the race, a party is held at one of Indianapolis' parks, where food booths provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy your favorite foods.
