Plants use carbon dioxide (CO2), which is expelled from the bodies of animals as waste and, through their life processes, produce oxygen from it, which is expelled from the plants as waste. Its a cycle, as you can see. The plant energy process is called photosynthesis. For animals this process is called cellular respiration. Below are the chemical equations for these processes.
C6H12O6 + O2 → CO2 + H2O + Energy - respiration
CO2 + H2O + Energy (light) → C6H12O6 + O2 - photosynthesis
Cellular respiration uses glucose, or sugar, (C6H12O6) and oxygen (O2) to produce carbon dioxide, water, and energy for later use, which can be, in animals, stored as fat. Photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide, (CO2) water, (H2O) and light energy (which is where the prefix "photo" comes from) to, in turn, create glucose and oxygen as the plants life process waste product.
A food chain, or a food web.
When an animal feeds on plants, it gets a lot of energy; then when the predator of that animal feeds on it. It loses 5% of its energy. Then 10%, 20%, 40%, 80% each time it gets eaten and it loses twice the amount it originally had.
A single path that shows how food energy moves from one organism to the next in an ecosystem is a food chain.
A food chain

Food Chain.
Glycolosis is the stage of respiration that all organisms perform.
Glycolysis is the metabolic pathway common to both aerobic and anaerobic processes of sugar breakdown. It is the metabolic pathway that converts glucose into pyruvate. All organisms produce a high energy compound ATP by releasing energy stored in glucose and other sugars.
Cyclic pathway
His use of drugs and alcohol led him on a pathway to depression.
Yes. It is common to both kinds. Main goal is to produce ATP

Afferent pathway
it is the pathway through which liquid products are sent to market or storage tanks.it is usually an assembly of pipes for the transfer of finished products to their target sites.
