The model 9478 is probably only valued between $100 & $150 (U.S.) as for age I have a serial # of E4***** which I believe was purchased new in the winter of 1998 or 99 for me by my parents so with that in mind the D437*** was probably manufactured in the mid-1990's.
you need to state the model number not the serial number to get and estimate of value.

That is not a model number, but is likely the serial number. Unless you have a Model 620 US marked Trench Gun, Stevens pump shotguns have little collectors value.
The exact value of a Stevens 12 gauge model g20a is actually dependent on a couple things. Some of these things would be the age and condition.
What isthe value of a Stevens double barrel hammer type 12 gauge shotgun Model 235 and when was it made?
That's a model number, not a serial number. These guns did not bear serial numbers. The Stevens 38A was made in the 1940's. Value is typically around $100 in excellent condition. sales@countrygunsmith.net
It may not have one. SN's were not required until 1968.
Good shape about $350
A Western Field 30 is actually made by Stevens as the model 520. Serial number dating was never kept on the Stevens model 520. They were made by Stevens between 1912 and 1932. Value is typically a shooting value between $100-200 depending on condition.
That is an old Stevens Model 520 built for Montgomery Wards in the 1920's. Not considered a collectible, value tops out around $150.
