The reference I have gives 1970 as the manufacturing date for this firearm. The value of most commemoratives is directly tied to the original qty. issued and to the firearms condition. Unfortunately there were over 27,000 Cowboy Commenoratives issued. The fact that your gun is in only fair to good condition further depresses the value of your gun to a point where its value is little if any above that of a standard issue Model 94 carbine in similar condition. I doubt if a gun shop would give more than $200 for it. If you sold it yourself and found someone who just had to have that particular firearm you might be able to double that figure. I have to admitt that I am not an expert on Winchester Commemoratives, but that is the way I see it.
