Atomic weight of all elements are relative to oxygen atom being taken as 16. The atomic weight of sodium is 6.940. Sodium metal has a density of 0.59. Density is mass per unit volume. Therefore the atomic volume of sodium is 11.763. Assuming atoms and molecules are spheres, the radius is the cube root of 11.763 divided by (pi x 4/3). But, this is relative oxygen, the radius of which in angstrom units has been determined
The only purpose of knowing the radius of an atom is to calculate its atomic or molecular volume, which, in the case of gases is very nearly the same by calculation but maybe universally equal in fact.
The original determination of the atomic weights of the inert gases was the mass of 22.4 litres of each of them. I, personally, determined the atomic weight of iron accurately to 5 decimal places in the chemistry laboratory of my local university, by chemical means. I could have calculated the atomic volume had that have been required.
A sodium atom has an atomic radius of about 2.23 angstroms.
In picometers the radius of sodium is...,
186 picometers (1 meter/1012 picometers)
= 1.86 X 10 -10 meters in radius

Sodium has a larger atomic radius and is more metallic.
Sodium has a larger atomic radius than aluminum.
yes
the atomic radius of sodium is greater than of gold.
No. Lithium and sodium are both from the same column of the periodic table and so have similar chemical properties. Lithium is atomic number 3 with a weight of 6.94. Sodium is much bigger and heavier with an atomic number of 11 and a weight of 22.99.
Sodium has a larger atomic radius and is more metallic.
Hydrogen has the smallest atomic radius - 25 pm.
Postassium, K, has a larger radius than sodium, Na, because it is in the next period on the table but in the same group as sodium.

Sulfur.
No. A cesium atom is larger both in terms of atomic mass and atomic radius.

For the representative elements (main group elements), atomic radius generally decreases from left to right across a period. Example: B and Fl: Fl has the smaller atomic radius Li and Be: Be has the smaller atomic radius
