How much should you pay the babysitter per hour?

probaly about $7.50 - $8.00 an hour depending on how many kids you are babysitting..

and how much the person you are babysitting for.. how much hours you babysitt and how much they will offer . To babysit their kid.

I find that it is about 2.50 for the first child and about 1.75 per child after. This is if you provide the food. This is also what most adult caregivers charge. I find teens want the quote listed above, but I only

allow someone who is a mom to provide care for my kids.

Depends on where you live. Depends on the ages of the children. You can figure the minimum would be $2.00 or $3.00 an hour. Often, a babysitter doesn't charge for each child. They just charge the same price per hour if you have three kids. You have to try and set the price. Don't ask her what she will charge. Tell her you'll pay $3.00 an hour to watch your kids. Or whatever amount you are willing to pay.

well it is normally upto them, i am a babysitter but since i am only 13 i am practically still a child myself so i only charge £5 p\hr that way people aren't too bothered about my age because age shouldn't matter if you are mature:)

i say $10 an hour

About 10 dollars an hour. And more if there is more than one child, maybe +2 dollars more per child. So just do 2x+10= outcome(however much you pay per hour). 'x' in this equation represents how many children you have, you can also set up another equation to determinate the amount of money for total hours babysat. The answer, not surprisingly, is that it depends. The rate hinges on where you live, if you have one child or more than one needing to be watched, the ages of your children, and details surrounding care expectations. If you need a babysitter for 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon, for example, babysitter requirements and resulting pay may be different than if you want a babysitter to care for your kids from about 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. or so.
