Summers in Portland are great because they are the only time of year that is consistently sunny. Compared to other parts of the country, Oregon has very mild summers. The summer temps are usually in the 70s-80s during the day and it gets cool at night. There are usually a couple of hot spells during the summer where the temperature is in the 90-100 range, usually in July or August. Those two months are also the two driest months of the year, with rain falling only a few days during these months. June is a little cooler and wetter with temps in the 60-70 range. But by far the best thing about summers in Oregon is that there is NO HUMIDITY.
