about 0F, but with global warming the last few years have been about 25F.
Montana is a BIG state so the answer depends a good deal on where you are in the state. Overall, however, the average low temperature during the winter is around 14 °F (-10 °C) and average high during the day is around 35 °F (~2 °C). Understand though that it can be around 50 °F on the west end of the state and well below freezing at the same time on the east side of the state. There is a tendancy for the western part of the state to be warmer in the winter than the eastern part of the state on the other side of the continental divide.
It varies greatly by location, as Montana is a huge state with large contrasts in elevation as well. You can get a broad overview at the related link.

um...i'm sorry i don't know... but...have you ever been to montana? there's no "average temperature", at least not that would speak at all of the actual temperature. one day it was like 60, 65, and within three days, it was like, 0 or something. why do you need to know? ps- why don't you just google it?
Between December and February, the average daily temperature can fall as low as 50 degrees.
