There isn't really an average weight, however smaller breeds like the Arabian tend to be on the lighter side of the birth weight scale, so somewhere between 50 and 100 pounds would be most likely.
Most foals are around one or two hundred pounds at birth, there weight will increase rapidly in the first month.
If you are referring to a cross between an Arab and a Newforest, the foal would be registerable as a Half-Arabian. If you are referring to a cross between an Arab and a Newforest, the foal would be registerable as a Half-Arabian.
Yes, it is possible for a chestnut Arabian mare bred to a black Arabian stallion to produce a grey foal. If either the mare or stallion carry the gene for greying, there is a chance that the foal may inherit this gene and develop a grey coat color as it matures.
You will get an arbxcanadian, but on the foal's page it'll say arabian. --starsun22 (eventinglover on howrse)
If the toy does not have a you-know-what, then you can infer that it is a girl. ur welcome! :)
All Arabian horses have different weight, it does not matter about the breed. All horses have a different weight.
You can try to submit a DNA test if you know who the sire and dam are. If the foal was at any point registered they would charge a fee and give you papers. If however the foal was not registered and if either of the parents are not registered the foal will not be accepted for registration as DNA proof is required.
It all depends on the type of the horse the parents are, the type of foal it is and how tall are the parents. It mostly depends on how tall the parents on because like us humans they get a gene by on of their parents to know how tall their going to be at birth and their rest of their life.
I would think so, yes. For example, a Shetland pony foal would weight a lot less than a Shire horse foal! Hope this helps! :)
On average it will be about 11 months
A horse is in foal for approximately 300 days.
It really depends on the breed of the mare and stallion. Normally, the foal would just be a cross breed, but, for example, if you bred a quarter horse and an Arabian, the foal would be classed as a Quarab. Or, if you breed a warm blooded sport horse with an Irish Draught horse, the foal would be classed as an Irish Sport Horse. Hope this helps! :)
