celsius;mainly called kelvin in the metric system
Fahrenheit and Celsius
Fahrenheit is not a metric unit. The base unit for temperature is kelvin, one kelvin is the same size as one degree celsius. Zero kelvin is absolute zero, the coldest it is possible to be, and equals -273.15oC.
Kelvin scale is the absolute temperature scale. The Celsius scale is also a temperature scale. The Celsius scale is a centigrade scale meaning that it is based on 100. The one hundred it the difference between the normal melting and boiling points of water.
If you mean the SI system, based on the metre, second, kilogram etc then the accepted unit is the Kelvin. The Kelvin satisfies the relationship 0K=-273.15 degrees Celcius and a change of 1K is a change of 1C so 273.15K=0C.
The unit is the kelvin.
It is exactly the same as a Celsius degree: 1/100th of the difference between the freezing and boiling temperatures of water.
The Kelvin.
The Kelvin is the official unit of temperature in the SI.
In English the unit of temperature if Fahrenheit shown as F°. In Metric the unit is Celsius shown as C°.
The official unit for temperature in the SI - the currently used version of the metric system - is the Kelvin. In popular usage, the degree Celsius, a.k.a. degree Centigrade, is more common; the Kelvin is used a lot in science.
The base unit of length is the metre.
Celsius (Fahrenheit for Imperial measurements)
measuring temperature the metric system of °C is used.
The Kelvin is the official unit of temperature in the SI.
In the SI system, the base unit for temperature is the kevin.

The Kelvin. Most people think it is the Celsius.
The metric unit for temperature is degrees Celsius.
meters
The SI unit of measurement for temperature is the kelvin(K). Celsius is not an SI unit (it is a metric unit), but may be used alongside it.
The base unit of length is the metre.
Celsius (Fahrenheit for Imperial measurements)
The metric unit is degrees Celsius and the SI fundamental unit is the Kelvin.
