What is the best way to coach kids with ADD?
The BEST way to coach a kid with add is to keep him active and interested, I sugest making him take out some of the equitment every once in a while. Trust me i am a kid, i hated P.E. whenever we had to learn somthing instead of playing outside. But if all else fails just give diciplnary actions.
How would do as a leader coach to deal with a person who starts with a positive conversation and turns negative?
The best way to get along with your high school coach is to find a common ground. Conversate with them and talk about things that you have in common with your coach. Also, never forget that your coach is always right. Never argue with your coach and always listen and agree with your coach, even if they're wrong. They are there to help you, not misguide you. Though not every coach knows everything, they know…
You would speak to them in just the same way, although in the majority of kids with add or adhd will have slight social problems that won't affect them greatly. I have add and am doing ok socially. Also, it's best not to be sarcastic or repetitive. This sort of thing has always confused me for some reason. All in all, every kid is different.
