My preferred weapon is the Mace of Molag Bal, which you get in markath, when you into the house, and most of the other Daedric Weapons are very good, and you can make them if your smithing level is high enough.

∙ 12y agoThere are several legendary swords to choose from. Deadric weapons can be forged by the player. Dragonsbane is a legendary sword found during a Blades mission during the main story arc and deals an extra 25 damage to dragons and 10 electricity to everything else. It is one of the most powerful for sure.

∙ 11y agoActually, there are quite a few good weapons in Skyrim.
If you have a high Archery level, an enchanted, high damaging bow such as a Glass Bow or a Nigthingale Bow is good, with perks such as the staggering perk. It's also good getting strong arrows, not just the typical Iron ones.
There are also some good swords, like the Ebony Sword, Glass Sword or Nigthingale Blade.
You can also get enchanted weapons as thane of a hold, but some of these don't do much damage. It's worth taking their enchantments on an Arcane Enchanter and using them on a higher damaging weapon.
Things like the daedric weapons are good too, and then there's the Wabbajack within them. Now, that's an unpredictable weapon if I ever saw one.
Just keep finding higher damaging weapons by looting bandits exploring caves etc.
