I cant believe someone tried to send you to kelly blue book for a gun price, haha. Anyway heres an edit for them.
I cant answer your question without more info from you, is it pre or post '64 production? How many digits is the serial number? The condition of the gun itself makes a huge difference as well. Is all the metal in its factory blued state or has it been reblued, are there dings and scratches on the stock? Also what does the bore look like, shiny and new with good rifling or is it dark and dingy? So many questions need to be answered to give you an accurate price.
I would personally recommend taking it in to a local gun shop, they will tell you the value very quickly.
