Overhand Throw
What sport are you talking about ?
I think a home run
This is called a hand shot
wild pitch ...over thrown ball to a base ...under thrown ball to a base ...ball hit thur the infielder legs ...throwing to the wrong base ...infielder drops a fly ball ...balk ( not sure if that scored and error)
They might seem like they have the same flight patterns, but they don't. A 12-6 curveball thrown by an over-hander will go from 12 to 6, but if the same is thrown by a 3/4 or side-armer, the ball will react a little more like a slider.
Where when the ball is thrown it looks like a rainbow. It tips forward.
When the ball is thrown forward over the line of scrimmage. This is allowed only once per play.
A coach may yell out from the dugout but, it is up to which ever player has the ball when the play is over. All he has to do is touch the contested base with the ball in his hand. The umpire will either rule safe or out. It has to happen before another pitch is thrown.
The ball is live until all runners advance one base or the batter is thrown out at first. At that point the ball is ruled a dead ball.
