###### Asked in Geometry

### Which circumference is greater 4.25in 4.246in or 4.308in how do you know?

Ah, well, its all about sorting numbers ...
First, it doesn´t have to be inches. It could be cm, miles, km
or putablocks ...
They all have a 4 on the left side of the dot, so you can ignore
this.
You end up with 0.25, 0.246 and 0.308
If you sort these, you´ll get 0.246 < 0.25 < 0.308
So 4.246 is the smallest circumfence and 4.308 is the
largest.
If the numbers given aren´t the circumfence, but the radius or
diameter, you`ll have to multiply them by 2 x Pi or Pi , but the
result stays the same.
