What is p1345 no cmp or sgc signal on a 2000 Mazda miata?

I'm not sure what sgc is, however cmp is your camshaft position sensor. My husband's 2000 Mazda protege had the same issue with the same code. You can buy a sensor at autozone, advance, etc. and they run about $70 - $100 depending on where you go and its availability. It's really easy to replace - should be on top or on the side of the engine. Just a plug, a screw, and snap in place. 10 minute job. Good luck.
