Mexico has four coasts:
The Pacific Coast, that stretches from Tijuana (close to San Diego, CA) down to the state of Chiapas, near the border with Guatemala.
The coast along the Gulf of Mexico, which begins near Matamoros (close to Brownsville, TX) down to Cancun, on the Yucatan Peninsula.
The Caribbean Coast, that begins near Cancun and borders all the eastern Yucatan Peninsula, down to the border with Belize.
Although it would be part of the Pacific Coast, all coast from Los Cabos, the inner side of the Baja California peninsula down to Mazatlan is part of the Gulf of California (also called Sea of Cortez).
