Scientists usually use the metric system of measurement. This type has the words meter, liter, and gram.
The SI system is in use by all engineers and scientists worldwide. Among the base units from which all other units are derived are;
Length Metre
Mass Kilogram
Time Second
Science uses all units of measurements on all of its fields. Depending on which type of Science, certain units of measurements are used more often. Physics use special units like Newton, Pascal, Joule, Bar, Kilograms force, etc. Astronomy uses light years, Electricity uses Ohm, Ampere, Volts, Resistance, Coulomb.
Considering Sciences that use most units of measurements, I would say that Electronics and Physics are the two ones that use mostly such units. However, all Sciences use units that belongs to another field of science. Thus, we could say that all Sciences use all units of measurements, depending on the circumstances.
The SI, or International System (System Internationale), also known as the KMS system because it consists of the following:
for mass: kg
for length: m
for time: s
The metric system. Oddly enough the metric system is easier and more precise than the customary system that we use in america.
The "Metric System" .
Metric as in the METRIC SYSTEM
Standard measurements make it easier for everyone to know what that measurement means. The metric system, which is the standard system used by scientists, is specifically designed to be easy to use. The English system is much more complicated, mathematically.

Scientist typically use the international system of measurements, or the metric system. If you mean English as in England, then yes. The United States' system of measurement is not usually used by scientists.

Scientists use the metric or SI units of measurement.
Scientists in all countries use the metric system.
To be unified with all scientists throughout the world

Imperial measurement is in general use. Engineers, scientists etc use the SI system.
So all scientists know what you did so they can test it for liability.
SI unit system is used by all scientists.. Hence, it is a standard unit for measurement.
