The supreme Hindu god Brahman is made of two opposing elements.

They are,

1. Saguna Brahman - the facilitating force that converts a thought into an action

2. Nirguna Brahman - the retarding force that converts an action into a thought and even abolishes it.

In Brahman the two components are distinctly separate. This make activity and rest 100% efficient with Brahman.

SIMILARITIES AMONG BRAHMA, VISHNU AND SHIVA:

Like Brahman, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are made of Saguna Brahman and Nirguna Brahman only.

In Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva the two components always coexist making both activity and rest less efficient.

DIFFERENCE AMONG BRAHMA, VISHNU AND SHIVA:

Among Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, the arrival of the retarding component in relation to the facilitating component is different.

In Brahma the retarding component arrives early, in Vishnu in the middle and in Shiva at a still later stage. This makes Brahma more suitable for thinking than Shiva. Shiva is more suitable for action and thus is considered as the most powerful of the three.

Vishnu is equally good for thinking and action. However, it is not as good as Brahma for thinking and not as powerful as Shiva for actions.
